Richard Fechter

Richard Fechter, BS is a Principal Developmental Engineer in the Clinical Engineering Department at UCSF Medical Center and Children’s Hospital. Richard has expertise as an electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, and has extensive experience with medical device design and safety.

Richard has been involved with Magnets-In-Me, LLC since its inception. He has worked in the development of the following devices: Magnetic Mini Mover for Pectus Excavatum, Magnamosis device for creating anastomoses, Roboimplant for the treatment of Scoliosis and Magnap for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. Mr. Fechter is also listed as an inventor for many of these patents.

Richard Fechter has also invented a number of other medical devices.
